今回私が2024年2月25日チャリティーランナーとして大阪マラソンを走ると決めた1番の理由は、私が大阪マラソンに挑戦することで日本に来る難民について知るきかっけとなり、サラリーマンでも行動することができることを伝えたかったからです。
大阪の茨木に西日本入国管理センターという外国人収容所があります。
Googlemapにも載っていません。茨木に生まれ育ったのに関わらず存在を知らないで生きてきて恥ずかしいと感じました。
難民について勉強したい、関わりたいと思い、1年半前にRAFIQ（ラフィック）で難民について講義を受けました。テレビや新聞での情報と実態の差異に驚きと衝撃を受けたのを覚えています。
フルタイムで仕事をしながら難民の支援がなかなか持てなかったので、今回大阪マラソンを通してRAFIQの活動と難民の実情についてPRしようと思い今回申し込みました。
マラソン初挑戦ですが、普段はトレイルランニングやボクシングを通して鍛えているので体力には自信があります。一人でも多くの方にRAFIQの活動と難民の実情を知ってもらいたいと思っています。
RAFIQで活動しているのは全員が無給の市民ボランティアです。寄附金は難民として日本にくる人が難民認定されるまでの衣食住、法的な支援、裁判所までの交通費として利用させていただきます。500円からでも寄付が可能です。

The main reason I decided to run the Osaka Marathon on 25th Feb, 2024 as a charity runner is because I wanted to tell people about refugees coming to Japan and I, even full time worker, could support for them.
There is a foreign detainment center in Ibaraki, Osaka, called the Nishinihon Immigration Center, and it's not even seen on Googlemap. I felt ashamed that I had been born and raised in Ibaraki but had never heard of it.
I wanted to learn about and get involved with refugees, so I attended a lecture about refugees held by RAFIQ. I remember I was surprised and shocked at the difference between the information on news and the actual situation. Japanese law and rule for refugees are poor than any other countries and these regulations are getting worse and worse and I cannot ignore it.
This is my first full marathon challenge, but I am confident in my physical strength as I usually train through trail running and boxing! I would like to let as many people as possible know about RAFIQ's activities and the reality of the refugee's situation. All of us who are supporting for RAFIQ are unpaid citizen volunteers. Donations will be used to provide food, clothing, shelter, legal support, and transportation to court for those coming to Japan as refugees until they are granted refugee status.

2月13日（火）20:00~オンラインで難民について出来ることのお話をさせて頂く運びになりました！2/25(日)に大阪マラソンを走ります。もちろんフルの42.5kmです。私がチャリティーランナーとして走ろうと思ったきかっけや会社員でもできることについてお話しできたらいいなと思っています。
チャリティーランナーとして走るには1人最低7万円を集めなければなりません。もちろん全額は日本に来る難民の生活や難民申請のための費用に使われます。
このようなイベントを開くことや皆様の前で話すことが初めてで、緊張と同時にワクワクです。

＜Online event: what we can do for refugees?＞
I will be talking about refugees on 13th February 8pm. Because I will be running Osaka Marathon on 25th February. (42.5km) I would like to talk about what made me decide to run as a charity runner and what we can do as an employee.
To run as a charity runner, each person must raise at least 70,000 yen. All the donations will be used to help refugees in Japan to make a living.
This is my first time to organize such an event and to speak in front of everyone, so I am nervous and excited at the same time.
It is free of charge to attend, and you are free to join and leave anytime!
