I am a somewhat slothful Englishman living in Tokyo with memories of running the Tokyo marathon back in 2009 dimming sufficiently to think I might like to do it again. My wife reminds me I vowed never to make myself run that distance again having done it three time at different stages of my life and every time promising that it would be the last but here we are, history repeating itself. It is a great cause and I am delighted to be doing it, I just hope I make it to the finish line.
